What is Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral therapy is very gentle. It predominantly uses 5 grams of pressure to alleviate tension or stress throughout the body. Although many people haven’t heard of these newer therapy, it’s incredibly effective for a number of conditions. A craniosacral therapy session is usually between 45 and 90 minutes. Sessions happen laying on table, primarily face up, similar to a massage, but the client remains fully clothed throughout the session. What ages do you work on?
We can work anywhere from birth to death, and it’s a fantastic modality for all of those ages. Learn more about our specific expertise with babies and young children, which can be difficult to find in a craniosacral therapist with the appropriate experience.

The Craniosacral Center of Grand Rapids is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are right off of 96 and Cascade. Our address is 1005 Parchment drive SE, in a cul de sac off of Cascade road. Often people think 1005 is a suite number, but it’s actually the building address. Our office is on the lower level

What kind of issues does craniosacral therapy address?
At our center, we see clients regarding a long list of conditions, from feeding concerns, to tension throughout the body, and many conditions that affect the central nervous system. Because craniosacral therapy works on several different body systems, it can impact a wide variety of ailments. How can I book an appointment? What is the process for becoming a client?
You can book an appointment by calling our office, sending us a text or booking online. For all new clients, book an intake session, which is 90 minutes regardless of your age. Many clients travel a long distance to come to our center because craniosacral therapy is not available near them, and for those clients, we can also offer longer sessions. Then we can schedule follow-up sessions depending on age, need and severity of your issue. We will tailor a treatment plan for you and your needs.
